This isn't a competition

People are always in this competitive mode. Everyone wants to be better than this person or finish before this person. We often compare our lives to others or talk about what others are doing and how you wish you were doing it. One time in our life we have all been guilty of doing that. I want you know that God has planned out each of our lives differently. We won't all be at the same finish line and someone else. We will all go through different struggles and situations before we reach where we need to go. We can get upset when we don't accomplish something the same time as somebody else. All that really matters is when you complete it and how you feel after you get it done. Work on being better than you were the day before or a few months ago. The only competition you should have is with yourself. You should challenge yourself and set goals that you want to accomplish on your time. Pray to God and ask him to guide you through all of the goals you want to accomplish. Life isn't about pleasing other people and out doing them in something that you wish you could do. We all have different skills, different talents, and just certain things in general that we are good at. We can't be upset if someone does something better than us. Keep working at it until you get just as good. I know for myself I like to write my goals and when exactly I want to get it done, and God willing I will meet all those deadlines and if I don't it's not the end of the world. Even with school I was suppose to Graduate in 2015 but I was struggling with what I wanted to do with my life. I've changed school multiple times and I found myself getting upset because majority of the people I went to high school were graduating on time. I had to remind myself that my life is my story. I can't do everything everyone else does and not everyone had to deal with what I had to deal with. My story could help someone else understand that life isn't about keeping up with everyone around me. YOU ARE YOUR ONLY COMPETITION.
