The enemy has nothing better to do!

There will be times when you're doing so GOOD! Everything is just going absolutely amazing. The enemy likes to steal your joy and doesn't like to see you living life happily. The enemy will start to bring up old stuff because that's all he knows unless you vocalize those your new weaknesses out loud. During these times when the enemy attacks you and starts to bring up your past and things that will make you feel like God doesn't love you and that you aren't a good person to be in God's presence. Well let me tell you something, God will never leave you nor forsake you. However, it's important to know God's word because you would know how to attack the enemy back with the WORD of GOD. The devil can NEVER win when God's on your side. You have to know who your belong too -You can't allow the DEVIL to control your mind and allow those negative things of your past to control you either. God loves you and wants you to live in FREEDOM. You have to know that the Devil is a liar and he has NO power over you whatsoever. There was a sermon at a conference that I attended back in September which was delivered by the wonderful Crystal Sparks. There was a couple things that she said that really stuck out to me, which was " WHOEVER CONTROLS YOUR HEAD, CONTROLS YOUR LIFE". If you want to walk in freedom you need to control your thoughts. The devil attacks are imaginations and she also stated that " The lion always attacks the one who is alone". So you have to know the WORD of God and put on your helmet of salvation. Also, Priscilla Shirer once said " The enemy knows that he can cripple you through perfectionism. The perfect one has already come, we don't need another perfect one". The thing about what she said is we feel like we have to be SO PERFECT and that we can't make mistakes. The things you did in your past are lessons and experiences that brought you to where you are NOW. God sees you through all your trials and tribulations. You have to stay prayerful and remember the DEVIL doesn't control you. You are a child of GOD and he will set you free from any curses or strongholds just trust in HIM.
