Make time !

Life can become very hectic and we allow the things of the world to take up most of our time. Sometimes we don't even intentionally just forget to spend time with the Lord we just have grown accustom to always being on the move. However, that's not an excuse because we make time for what we want to make time for and then wonder why we feel like Jesus is so distant from us. Jesus never leaves our side but he does need us to check in and spend some time with us. Just like we tend to miss people we haven't talked to in a while that's how Jesus feels when we don't check in with him. We allow our day to day stress us out and we act out of character, but we don't take it to God we try to handle things on our own. Spending time with Jesus allows us to have clarity and feel at peace. I know for myself that when I start my day of with Jesus I feel so much better and I also feel like I can take on my day. Spending time with Jesus shouldn't feel like something you HAVE to do. This is something you just want to do because you love the Lord. God does so much for us and he requires so little from us. We are so blessed that when we do spend time with the Lord that we are able to cast any burdens that are keeping us down onto him. Just spend time with the Lord and tell him how much you LOVE him and just thank him for all the things he's done in your life, all the things he has protected you from. God's job is never done and looks out for all of us. He knows each of us individually and knows all of our needs. He just wants us to take some time out and talk to him and love him. It blows my mind that God requires so little, and that he still loves me even when I fall short. He picks me back up every time I fall, he doesn't have to do those things but HE DOES. It is a privilege to serve the GOD I serve. I'm so thankful that I can depend on him through any situation/circumstance I'm going through. So I encourage you all today to stop what you're doing for a few moments and just PRAY and thank GOD for your life and all the things he protected you from. Just spend time with him today and watch how good you will feel after that conversation with Jesus. Make it a daily thing that you do. Don't keep putting God in the background he deserves so much more from you. I'm not just saying this to you all. I'm speaking to myself as well because I get so caught up with being busy and doing all these other things and I don't check in with God like I should. He put this on my heart to share with you all. So today let's make sure we spend some time with Jesus.
