We experience moments where anger can take over us and we blurt out things we don't mean to say. We can dig ourselves into deeper holes and don't let the situation be something that caused you to get SUPER upset and you're just saying whatever you need to say to get revenge. I know for me when I get pushed beyond my limits I'm making sure I say the meanest thing that can come to my mind. That's not how you handle situations and it makes you look absolutely crazy. We fail to take things to the Lord when we are anger and find answers or solutions from him. When we are angry we aren't worried about speaking the truth in love or turning the other cheek. We allow the enemy to have so much control during that time that later when everything dies down you get so much conviction that it causes your to feel really about yourself and how you handled situations. We have to understand that not everything needs a reaction and that sometimes silence is the best way to get back at someone. You don't have to say a word and trust that God will take care of those who do wrong by you. This scripture really speaks to me because I use to be so quick to pop off at the mouth and just whatever and not even consider the other persons' feelings because they didn't consider mine. I'm learning that in the midst of my frustration I need to ask GOD to give me the right words to say or tell me when I need to bite my tongue and let it go. God will take care of the things that he knows you just can't handle just yet. He's an awesome father and he wants to see us grow and be able to call on him especially when we are HOT and UPSET about anything. He wants us to stay calm and don't let what others do get to you. The LORD HIMSELF will fight for you. I don't know what is more comforting than that. We need to utilize God in all areas of our lives. We need to make sure we think to pray before we pop off all crazy to someone. We are children of GOD and he wants us to love each other and always speak the truth in love. We need to stay calm and act accordingly.
