It's just a small lie?

We are all guilty of telling a lie. It doesn't matter if it was a small lie or a big lie. It's still a lie. It's almost crazy how it's the ones who lie the most who hate LIARS. No one likes to be lied to but yet they lie to other people. I am guilty of telling a lie and then getting mad when someone lies to me. We have to understand that LYING takes too much energy and investment. Once you tell a lie you have to tell another one to go with the other lie you've already told. People usually lie because they are scared of the outcome. We have to get it together and own up to our reality. We are not going always do everything right and if we do something wrong we have to be mature enough to say " Look, I'm sorry for doing this and I was scared to tell you because...."People lie out of fear all day and when it catches up to them they try to figure out how to cover it up. It's so crazy how the system of lying is SOOO much work. When you tell the truth there's a possibility of someone being upset but there could bigger a consequence that comes from it if you don't tell the truth. We can't expect people to be honest with us all the time and we can't even be honest with them. It's very important that you rid yourself of the lying trait. We get consumed in lying and it starts to take over our lives. I've told many lies before and I still do sometimes especially when comes to being late for work sometimes, or just small things like not wanting to go somewhere. It's not okay to do it but that's something I am working on being honest even when it comes to small things. As I've stated before we lie out of fear because we don't want to face the consequences. I am being transparent like I am in all of my blog post. My story could help someone else stop lying. We are all going through this thing called life together. We need to be more honest and let people know when they've hurt us, bothered us, made us mad, and etc. We need more honesty in our lives. We have to build that trust of being honest and just accepting and facing the reality of our situations. Sometimes we even lie to ourselves in certain situations. As that saying goes " Honesty is the best policy". So lets challenge ourselves to tell the TRUTH for 30 DAYS straight no matter what it is. We can do it together because it takes 21 days to break a habit. I'm sure if you ask God to break the spirit of lying out of you.. I know he will. LET'S BE HONEST AND SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE ALWAYS.

Prayer Starter :

Dear Lord,

I am struggling with being honest. I am asking that you help me be more sincere with

my words and being truthful. I ask that you remove the spirit of lying and cleanse me and create me in a clean heart. I receive deliverance from the power of lying spirits,Holy Spirit, incubate my soul with your truth, in the name of Jesus. AMEN
