We become obsessed with the relationships we see on the internet. We will post pictures of other couples wishing we had what they had; I know that I'm so guilty of doing things like that. We have to understand the things that we see aren't really what we think. The relationship we post could be the most dysfunctional situation ever and your position could probably be way better than theirs. We are living in a generation where real love is becoming more distant, and we praise these crazy relationships we see on "TV." None of the relationships we see on T.V. is healthy we are giving glory to something that isn't even real. Some of the women and men are devaluing themselves to be with a boyfriend/girlfriend who cheats, lies, and doesn't care about their feelings at all. I just want us to understand that we can't compare ourselves to what we see on social media. The thing is people are always going to put the good stuff up there to make it seem like EVERYTHING IS GREAT. Relationships are not perfect and if you think that they are you will continue to live in a fantasy world. Make your own relationship goals and allow GOD to be in the mix of that, so you're not out here praising relationships that don't even allow GOD in the mix. Social Media has taken over the generation, and some of the logic they come up with for relationship are absolutely disgusting. If you want to know how to court someone or know what real love is, read your Bible and devotions that talk dating with a godly purpose. We can't keep giving these unhealthy relationships husband and wife privileges. Make sure you are getting your relationship advice from God and not the stupid memes you see on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Things are not always what they are cracked up to be. Stop praising these social media relationships when God gives you the run down of what you're relationship should be like.
