It's super amazing how my views on relationships have changed since I allowed God to rule my world. I'm so happy that I re-dedicated my life to Christ. God has taught me that all the previous relationships I've had in my life were just lessons. Proving that his love is unmatched and that it wasn't love and I deserved so much more because I am a daughter of a King, and also that my earthly father Darin treats me like a queen as well. I was just settling. Well, I'm going to say that It's imperative that the man in my life loves me like God loved the church. He has to have God as the center of his love, so he's able to understand what it's like to lead and love. I want him to know that I come second in his life because God comes first at all times. When I talk about leading, I mean leading by example, encouragement, serving and sharing. God-centered relationships are an excellent way to understand what great and genuine love looks like and sets the tone for people to see that God makes all things great. I wouldn't allow my relationship to be any other way. I've settled for whatever for too long and allowed my heart to get stepped on numerous of times. Also, ladies we are supposed to be pursued so don't you go around chasing a man because that's not how it's meant to be. If you're chasing a man, I'm 100% sure that's not the man God sent to you. Overall, a relationship is teamwork, and you both are on the same team needs to make sure you are communicating and working together to make the relationship work. Stay prayerful and make sure you handle any situations you go through between you two and of course God. When you allow too many people in your relationship issues that can create more problems because you start taking advice from someone who doesn't know the first thing, there is to know about love. Make sure if you do talk to someone they can give you accurate Godly advice. If my man can possess the qualities of a true man of God, you better, believe I'm thanking God all day for him. I'm blessed to have a relationship now that God is all in the mix of it. I thank God for him every day, and I pray every day that we keep him first in our lives and that he continues to bless and cover the man in my life. I pray that he continues to allow my boyfriend to lead and be the example of a man of God to others as well as myself. I'm saying all of that to say ladies wait and wait until you can THANK GOD for the man that he has placed in your life. I'm not talking about the man you have to force to pray, force to be a man, forced to love you because you don't want to start over.

Spirit-Guided Relationships: Wives and Husbands

And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.b He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. And we are members of his body.As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
