We all have this idea of love being so easy. I think we are all hopeless romantics but in our little way. Sometimes we are so infatuated with the notion of love that we don't even like to think about the other stuff that comes along with it. Love is a challenge, and it's not for the weak. Love is about keeping yourself align with your partner. When you are committing yourself to someone, you are committing all of you. They love your through your mess and understand that you aren't perfect. There will be times where disappointment in each other will exist. That's where the patience, grace, and enduring hard times come in. Love isn't for people who give up when things get too hard. I know for me I'm a fighter and I will fight until I can fight no more for the person I love. Also, forgiveness is a major key for the times your partner does the unthinkable or does something that genuinely bothers you. No holding grudges because you guys have to be able to commit to working things out. Love isn't just some breezy walk in the park. Love is hard work, but it only stands through the storm when you let God be the foundation, and you pray against all battles that will try and tear you two apart. So remember that you gave what you would want someone to give to you. Being selfless, showing grace, acts of service, and patience is the greatest sign of love. LOVE HARD, LOVE HARDER! Don't give up when things become hard. Love is all about enduring the hard times together because, in the end, it makes you both stronger. I don't believe in being a quitter unless the circumstances are unbearable to the point that you need to walk away. Other than that, fight hard for love because it's worth it.
