Did you prepare for what you prayed for ?

We have all had our moments when we prayed to God and was wondering why he isn't answering our prayers or your answered prayer wasn't what you expected. I've been guilty of that, and I would get upset and be like " Um God?, I don't remember asking you to do that." I think sometimes we forget who is in control and that bothers us when we can't be in control of a situation. Well, let me tell you, that God knows you better than you know yourself. He has your life planned out from beginning to end. You pray these bold prayers and then become impatient when it doesn't happen on your time. The thing is there are seasons in our life that prepares us for the prayers we prayed about and allows us to get ready for what lies ahead of us. God's timing is always the best timing. I appreciate it when God tells me no because when he does say "no" there's always something that happens and I see that he protected me from it. I've prayed some prayers about things in my life that when I got them answered I was a little confused. For example, I asked God to reveal things to me about someone I'm dating, or I would ask him to remove things or people that weren't appealing to the life I'm trying to live. So when he removed the guy I was madly in love with and removed some friends that I thought were going to be my best friends for life. I would get upset and try to force things to work out. God would have to break my heart for me to see the bigger picture. So when you are praying for things, please be mindful that the outcome is not going always be what you wanted it to be. God always something bigger and better for you and he knows what's best for you, and everyone and everything can't travel along with you during certain seasons of your life. If you are praying for something that's going to be life altering, please make sure you are preparing your heart, mind, and everything else for that answered prayer you are looking forward to receiving.
