I never used to look into the way people behave around me. I would brush everything and off and move on. However, there comes a time in your life that people become burdens and lack encouragement. You tend to feel the need to ignore these things and not speak up and let them attack you. I'm at this point in life where if you are giving me anything to build me up, support me, and just be a real person to me as a whole. I am very obligated to make the decision to remove myself. Toxic people don't like when you finally gain control of how you want people to treat you. There are many ways they will act out. They will try to steal your joy, start saying things about you that reflect who they are. You start to believe it if your mind is weak. However, if you know who you are and who Christ says you are then you have no worries. You pray for people who wish evil things on you. Let people make their assumptions and just be silence. God will do the work for you because he looks out for his people. Toxic people will regularly come around and bring up old things you did or "claim" you've done. They will try to make sure you feel as weak as they do. I use to let stuff like that get to me. Now that I'm getting older and I'm realizing more and more that people don't always have your best interest. It's okay to speak up for yourself and say what's on your heart and keep it moving. Toxic people will always make you feel like you're in the wrong and never remember the good things you did for them. They will always point out that one time you were negative or that one time you couldn't be there for them. We are not perfect, and we can't please everyone... However, while you are point fingers make sure you reflect on the things you've done so you don't do it to other people.

Pray for the people who hurt you and have ill intentions.

Never let the actions of others to change who you are as a person.
