God, you are awesome

As humans, we are always in a rush to do things. It's like we want things done when we want them. I know that we are impatient sometimes and don't want to wait to see what God has for us. Well, we have to understand that God does things when he wants too. He knows exactly what we can and can't handle. Sometimes we get caught up in all our wants and forget that God has a plan already set in stone for our life. There are some things that I thought I was ready for and I kept pressing the issue in my prayers, and when I finally got it, it was almost like geez I didn't even prepare myself for what I was asking for because I wanted to be impatient. I am thankful for all the times God has told me "NO" because he saved me from things I didn't need or want to be a part of in the end. God does have a sense of humor because sometimes he doesn't come through until the last minute, but he always comes at the right time. I fail at giving faith in that, and I start to worry about things that are out of my control. Give it to God and pray and sometimes I'm just like " this is the last thing I want to hear." However, it's very true when you give your cares and worries to God it truly does work out. There's never been a time in my life where GOD didn't give me something better after telling me "no" to something I thought I needed. He knows me better than I know myself and I'm forever thankful for his mercy and grace he continually bestows on my life. I am not perfect, and sometimes my faith isn't as strong as I'd like it to be but God sees me through, and every day I work on putting all my trust into him and gaining faith that he will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you, JESUS!!!!
