Everything isn't about sexual attraction

There is more than just sexual attraction to become interested in someone. I've noticed the older I get that looks don't matter as much to me. I like to pick people's brain and see where their head is at. I'm interested in your goals and what you like to do for fun. I care about your views on the world and what changes you would like made. If we can't keep a conversation going, then I don't see much happening between us. I find people so interesting, and I believe that when people can share freely what's on their mind then that's a side of them being vulnerable and that's breathtaking to me. I'm not impressed by a beautiful body and fresh clothes. I feel like my generation has become so brainwashed by the media and what they think attraction should be, etc. I don't want us to lose the real meaning of what it is to get to know someone. I think that's why so many relationships fail because we don't take the time to get to know each other and pick each other's brain because SEX has become the new thing that is more important than anything. Don't get me wrong I'm not telling you that physical attraction doesn't matter at all, but I just don't think it should be the sole reason you wanna be with someone.
